Utilization of Cannabis Sativa in Teaching Chemistry
Stránská, Adéla ; Holada, Karel (advisor) ; Beneš, Pavel (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with Cannabis sativa. The aim is to focus on possible utilization of Cannabis sativa in teaching chemistry. The theoretical part describes the botany of cannabis, overviews phytocannabinoids, substances contained in cannabis, and it also includes wide use of cannabis in agriculture and industry. The practical part deals with the selection and arrangement of a possible curriculum about chromatography as the most affordable technique for analysis of cannabis at school, including the formulation of school experiment methodology using the thin-layer chromatography of Cannabis sativa extract to demonstrate the presence of phytocannabinoids. The practical part also includes the scheme of an educational project on cannabis and describes the latest techniques, as well as the methodology of work with them, which are suitable for analysis of phytocannabinoids.

Model Chemical Experiments with Magnesium
Radinová, Simona ; Rusek, Martin (advisor) ; Tóthová, Martina (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with a proposal of a sequence of chemical reactions involving magnesium. These chemical reactions are used for an educational experiment aimed on secondary school students. The proposed experiments strive to enrich incomplete or missing information in secondary school textbooks. This fact resulted from the analysis of such textbooks. In the thesis, there are information about the chemistry of magnesium, about the nature of observed phenomena, about the safety in laboratory, and there are descriptions of six experiments with magnesium to be carried out after each other. These experiments show the properties of magnesium during burning in air, and thus refute or confirm hypotheses of secondary school students. The student feedback is obtained by using the IMI questionnaire, which is described in a separate chapter. The thesis also contains comments including the methodology for the teacher and student worksheets.
Analysis of sellected drugs with the use of TLC as a topic of laboratory courses
Menzel, Petr ; Kolář, Karel (advisor) ; Rusek, Martin (referee)
The paper aims to mediate thin film chromatography analysis by means of drugs commonly found in households (analgesic-antipyretics) to secondary school and grammar students, or to college students. For this purpose, laboratory tasks have been designed to cover all levels of the Bloom pyramid so that the educational potential is as high as possible. This is closely related to the topic of drug expiration and treatment. Pupils and students should take on both the competences of knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Keywords: thin layer chromatography; TLC; chromatography in education; educational experiment; expiratory medication; drug handling; analgesic- antipyretics, acetylsalicylic acid, paracetamol

SUPOVÁ, Táňa
In my thesis I deal with the interactive textbook for teaching of functions at elementary schools I have created. In the first part of my work I mention the concept of a textbook, modern textbook, interactive textbook. The main part of my thesis focuses on the description of the manual for the interactive teaching. In the manual the environment of the textbook, its application and individual examples are set out. Further, the educational experiment which was carried out at a selected school is described. The final part is dedicated to the evaluation of the questionnaires and stating of the results of the tuition.
